My Colors

Growing up, my colors were bright yellow and orange,
excited and ready for my adventure to begin.

But now, I am pastel purple and gray.

Nervous, afraid, and exhausted. The excitement I had once held is now gone, and the adventure I had once hoped for,
is looming in the horizon.
