Where I go
Some people go where the green grass grows
Others go where skyscrapers are built in rows
Like books on a shelf
But where do I find my a home for my self?
My home is a girl with short brown hair
With her beautiful smile that gives me the assurance that she’s not going anywhere
Her sparkling green eyes look into the future
They reflect the ocean that we have craved all our lives
But if you get the honor to look deep into those eyes
You’ll find a freckle that takes you back to her brick house
When I told her I loved her
It seems so long ago
She invited me in but we stood by the door
This house has taken to many hits before
Yet she moves to the kitchen
By the time I leave she’s given me the key
Everywhere I go I want her with me
She’s the security blanket I need to do something stupid
She’s the one I can’t live without
She’s my everything
She’s my baby
And with her I’m always home
