Will vs. If
You can’t be the one unsure
Because my confidence comes from you.
You’re supposed to be the one saying “will,”
When all of me says “if”.
I found my breath in you
Where I Also found my future
And my person.
Your words fill my lungs.
And your smile, my heart.
But if you can’t be sure,
I will be
Because whatever you can not do,
I will.
