The First Time I Told Her I Was Depressed
The first time I told her I was depressed,
She laughed and thought I was joking.
With her retreating steps, the last ounce of my resolve faded.
She unknowingly set my plan in motion.
With her laughter echoing in the background of my mind
I chose my weapon; transferring the pain from within to the outside of my body.
The first time I told her I was depressed she laughed,
But when she found me covered in blood, recoiling from life,
She stopped laughing.
