The Fire in my Soul

There is a fire,
deep in my soul,
that is always present,
slowly taking over,
without my knowledge.
Spreading all throughout,
my entire mind.
Causing me to scream in rage.
I just wish,
that I would not be pulled back,
with my unwillingness.
With my regret and sorrow.
I wish that for once,
I could leave,
and never look back.
Back into
the fire of betrayal.
