so much depends
upon
the flickering light
diminishing
searching frantically discovering
salvation
fire mustn't go
out

when i wrote this not only did i think about in the wild but in love and how we sometimes frantically search for different things to fuel our fiery spirits and not let ourselves or the things we want in our possession to burn out
