No rise without a fall

Happiness is a drug.
Abused commonly by those whom know no better.
Once addicted, man will be held by no bounds to reach.
After the excitement and joy pass from overuse,
Left with nothing to look forward to are they.
And so, hug the shore and laugh as the others drown in the deeps.
