Lines
Red and ragged
Drawn across my skin
Speaking with your eyes
Angel please, not again
Bodies tightly pressed together
A tear falls
Yours or mine
I do not know
Months later
Fingertips
Tracing unknown patterns against my skin
Eyes closed
When your hand stills
Gentle lips against my leg
Now only small pink scars
Looking in your eyes
As they fill with tears
Whispering
Still the most beautiful woman I've ever seen
Pressing my mouth to yours
After a moment, pulling away
So I can quietly say
"It's over now, I'm gonna be okay"
