You came to stitch up my broken heart
You know I’ve been stabbed by a sword that was very sharp
The pain was leaking
And you were the one I was seeking
My heart was so destroyed it could’ve stopped at any minute
My world was dark
My dreams were tinted
People come and leave
But depression mostly visits
My eyes were tired
My hope my love seemed to be expired
The hate burning up in flames hot dangerous fire
Give me your love Give me your glory
Give me your desire
Tell me I am the one you want the one you truly admire
And you wouldn’t dare leave….
I’ve been stuck in a cave
Dark cold and lonely but you can save me…
Yes, yes you can.
Hold me close Hold my hand
Please don’t let go
I’ve fallen so many times
I forgot how to stand
Sinking in this sand
Closing my eyes
Praying that things will be right
Save me
Show me your love
Your beautiful perfect love
That soars in my heart like a pretty white dove
Show me.

The author's comments:
I wrote this explaining how God knows I've been betrayed and left alone. That he came to fix my heart. The day after I wrote this I went to church and told God the first two lines...after a while that same night God delivered me and showed me his love. And fixed my broken heart. So all of that encouraged me to put this up and show people what my mind speaks even when I am silent. I encourage others to tell God everything they feel, speak to him as a best friend and look at him as your father. If you can't put it in words tell him to read your heart. You wont regret it.
