Hopeless
Hope. Hope is an interesting human emotion. Without it, we are, well, hopeless. We will never believe that anything we do will get better. But if you do have it, it can be even worse. You want something to happen, you hope something will happen, you know if that one thing happens, you will be alright, you will begin to heal. But that one thing you hope for never happens. You never get good enough grades. You never get the girl. You never win the tournament that you have been training for for the past month. Only then, you realize that happiness will not come, will never come, no matter what you do. But hope makes you keep trying, hurting you even more. People tell you “You’re not alone” and “You just have to find hope”, but you shouldn't search for hope. It’s an angel for some, and a devil for few.
