Favorite Quote:
"A man cannot change himself without pain, for he is both the chisel and the stone."

I stalk amidst the broken shards of Memory,
Never slowing, seeking salvation
Though it may prove to be folly,
I am driven by desperation.

Steel rasps on steel as I battle my enemies,
Hounded by the demons of the past.
A vast horde of blasphemies,
Those that I can acknowledge at last.

My blade is a raging inferno,
Consuming with reckless abandon.
Fueled by pain and anger,
I feed its expansion.

At last the final foe’s head rolls,
And my blaze subsides to embers.
The sun rises on the wasteland of the past,
But never do I fail to remember.

The triumph is bittersweet,
For only is it an illusion.
I finally lower my gaze,
To be filled with horror and confusion.

Words deny me,
For though at my best,
I never thought to see
Guilt’s arrow through my chest.

Some emotional things happened, so I wrote this.
A girl was involved *cough* but there's other stuff too. Enjoy!
