Fall Frenzy
I wake to the smell of falling leaves
Wonder is it morning or night at this hour the light is weak
The trees are pretty and bright
my face is crest by cool breeze
leaves are red and orange
this is a season of change

My bones are chilled by the cool breezes
I unpack warm clothes for a season of change
The sun shines not summer
The pumpkins in the field look like a blanket of orange
As day draws on the light is weak
My feet crunch on the falling leaves

School starts in this season of change
At the end of the day I walk in weak light
My hair is blowing in the cool breeze
A new fall sweater is red and orange
My dog walks through the falling leaves
The burning bush is very bright

Halloween means falling leaves
The jack o lanterns look black and orange
The trick or treaters faces painted bright
I like this time of change
My skin feels good against the gentle breeze
The day will end in weak light

Chili reminds me of falling leaves
Pumking pies golden orange
Apple cider means season changed
Eating my halloween candy enjoying the cool breeze
Candy corn oh so bright
I finish my crisp apple in weak light

December comes no falling leaves
The day turns to grey from bright
The pumpkins gone no more orange
I do not want this season to change
Freezing cold from cool breeze
Darkness over the weak night

I will miss falling leaves
All orange is dead
look forward to the next season of change
