Another Empty Bottle
Every little bit of her wants to see that light.
But every single night her memory dies.
Crying herself to sleep, Knowing shes not okay.
Her own blood next to her as she lay.
Her wrist is scarred, But she forces a smile.
Nobody will know, Her mind's in denial.
She has no hope, Shes dying inside.
But she tells everyone that she is alright.
Do you believe her? Do you think shes okay?
You can keep on asking, But she'll refuse to say.
Look into her eyes, They're dark and glazed over.
You see her wrist, But the cuts go even lower.
You don't want to help, Because you wouldn't want to see.
That inside shes being killed, But what could it be?
Could it be, Shes not very loved?
Or that her mind tells her, Shes never good enough.
Could it be a monster hiding deep inside?
Who laughed at her every night, As she began to cry.
What can you say to this? Nothing at all.
You let her leave, And walk the lonely halls.
But what will you say, When her heart gets too bent?
This will be her last day, And the worst shes ever spent.
You wont see her tomorrow, She'll be lost in the sky.
Do you feel bad, For not saying goodbye?
They'll find her laying, Dead on the floor.
They wont have to see her anymore...
