A Forest Lake
Shimmering azure at twilight stream,
Melodious, sweet-sounding birds that gleam,
Ferocious cheetahs, lions and tigers,
With their chromatic patterns that flicker,
Leaves of trees, whispering in the breeze,
Flamboyant blossoms, blooming from their trees,
So calm and quiet is the twilight lake,
With fishes, animals and birds,
Under the breeze of the tree that does a gentle shake.
