They stumble and stagger as they walk to their destination
They stare at one thing resulting in bloodshot,frenzied eyes
They have corpse white skin from the sunlight they do not receive
They are sleep deprived creatures
They are controlled by society
They are what you call todays technology addicted generation of Zombies

Your extended metaphor is awesome!  Love the comparison of teenagers today and zombies, controlled by technology and societal norms.   Deep rooted meaning and awesome image to display with poem.
