Treat Others The Way You Want To Be Treated
Respect is like trust,
it can take forever to gain
but only seconds to lose.
Respect is the thin line,
between right and wrong,
good and evil, yes and no.
There’s little respect for
one another these days.
Calling each other names behind
the keys and a computer screen.
We all should respect each other,
a little more and more each day.
We should all respect people,
to where the respect is practically
flowing out of our mouths,
We should be able to feel the,
respect not the hate.
Hearing the bang of a kids
locker slam, as another walks away,
laughing, isn’t respect.
Treat others the way you want to be treated.
Help the kid whose books,
were slammed on the floor.
Invite him to sit with you at
lunch, if he’s all alone.
Treat others the way you want to be treated.
Respect,
It shouldn’t be taken lightly,
or for granted. Just remember, to always,
Treat others the way you want to be treated.
