Humans, top of the food chain, the best of the best,
Intelligence and tools, with which we have been blessed

Creatures, superior to all, or so we say,
Yet humans have imperfect traits, to our dismay

So we may need a lesson, some help to be enhanced,
Look to other animals, you’ll see it in one glance

Beings we view as lower, inferior, and vain,
From which we have, an abundance of wisdom to gain

Behold, the mighty dolphin, energetic and wet,
Every day they do something, some humans forget

They live to have fun, playing and jumping has no end,
Humanity should loosen up, something to append

We need to stop and smile, and enjoy the world we know,
Sometimes we should act like dolphins, and just let it go

Next, an animal that’s close, a friend like no other,
Dogs are so loyal and devoted to another

To a dog, the needs of their owner always come first,
They stay by their side through the best and the worst

This devotion dogs have, could be good for humans too,
A dependable person, a good friend through and through

Elephants could educate us well about respect,
Appreciation can sometimes be what we neglect

These massive creatures give their elders a lot of awe,
We try to do the same, overseeing is our flaw

Before we’re superior there are lessons to be learned,
We have to keep on working so our title can be earned

Humans, top of the food chain, the best of the best,
From our wild teachers, we learn how to progress
