Short remarks growing to full conversations
Stealing looks without being caught too often,
While trying to figure out if this is really right.
Looking for his face in a crowded hall,
Waiting for that perfect moment to ask her on a date.
Staying up half the night, because saying goodnight first
would end a conversation you'll never have again.
The excitement of flirting, to build a relationship
or to add some fun to life
It makes old souls feel young
And young souls feel alive.
