As dreams usurp
Your mere existence.
Flying through waves of effervescence,
And aptly avoiding all abjection in your path,
You find infatuation
In a graceful pulse of hoofbeats.
Surpassing the model of an ideal world,
As he jumps across peninsulas
And teaches you the meaning
Of companionship.
In silent words
And rhythmic motions
He shows you
How to trust.
