a once wasteland
full of sorrowed hues of green
now covered in a blanket of icy relief

a wonderland of mystic contentment
a slice of a nature made fabrication

though through the cloak of a subsidiary life
patches of what use to be, reappear
like daisies popping out of the snow
at the rise of the suns call

life begins to change once again
and just like the tides flare high or low
the seasons change too

bringing back an imperfect world
a world, that only seems to cause
Pain.

It was really cold outside, but it looked like a nice spring day even though it was winter.
