My life is grammar-
In the past tense
I have walked long distances,
Talked with many,
And worked hard to come
To the present tense
Where I am walking long distances,
Talking with many,
And still working hard
For the future tense
Where I will walk long distances,
Talk with many,
And will work hard
Through the arduous mountains of vocabulary,
Taking rests at the commas,
Climbing the apostrophes
And sliding down the dash,
Struggling to answer the question marks
And gasping at the exclamation marks.
And when I come across the period-
The full stop,
I will look at my tenses
And though they may have not been perfect tense,
I will smile at them,
With no regrets,
And finally mark my period mark.
