They expect us to wake up early,
Go to school,
Learn 7 different things
And remember it all.

They expect us to join clubs,
Do sports and activities
Then have time for homework
And studying.

We don’t have time.
Are lives are taken up,
And they wonder why we are failing.

We are only humans,
We can’t do the impossible.

They expect us to go to school
With no air conditioning,
But still follow the dress code.

They expect us to respect your teachers
When they don’t even respect you.

School is not even about learning,
It’s about getting good grades
To get into college.

That’s a problem.
