for growth in birds
(forgetting the egg)
remembering to fly away

for growth in fish
(bubbles to which they
blow)will forget to breathe

for growth in dogs
(learning to befriend)
Forgetting their manners

for growth in man (a
creature of though) forget
not the past, remember it

and to the thought
(progression of growth)
from birth, and to death
