Just one glance
and there you go
you’re in a trance.
His seductive smile
makes you want to
stay for awhile.

You can’t help but gaze
with his smashing elegance
He puts you in a daze.
And his small gestures
still seem noble to you.
Like when he found your
glass shoe.

But be warned,
he will crush your heart
and as fast as your romance started
you two will part.
So don't bang your head
falling for him
Remember what I said
don't be blinded
by your perception of love
This news may be alarming
but he is still a boy even if he is
Prince Charming.

The author's comments:
I played with the rhyming to mock sort of an innocent fairy tale while the poem distorts a normal prince and princess love story.
