Always Look on the Bright Side

Life is filled with good and evil
seen in black and white
and lived in joy and sorrow.
Two opposing sides weighing in the balance
which one will prevail
always look on the bright side.
When thieves come and steal your choice
and you find yourself wallowing in despair
with little or no understanding
To light your path
always look on the bright side.
Lest I be accused
of subverting
and squelching
harsh reality
allow me the pleasure of a simple and innocent opinion.
Always look on the bright side.
