The Only One
Black, silky hair
Twinkling eyes, and red luscious lips
Why does it whenever I see her?
I feel relief.
What is with her hands?
So delicate and magical
Whatever she touches, it heals
Whatever she taps, it wins!
I’m not lucky, I’m blessed
Receiving this gift is a privilege
I could not trade this for gold
I would not! Oh no, I won’t.
I am from her
And she is for me
I am not anybody’s but her
She’s the greatest keep.
I love you, even I don’t say,
I’m torn when you’re hurt
Mama, you’re not the one,
You’re the only one.
