The love for Mother Earth once held so dearly by our ancestors, has been lost.
The appreciation for the life she gives us has been completely tossed.
Once upon a time there was a people who understood the connection between man and earth,
They are the people who truly appreciated and respected her and her worth.
Those people, our ancestors, loved the earth like a mother's love for her baby.
Unconditionally, and they would do anything for their safety.
They believed the running waters of the land were just as important as the blood running though their veins.
They believed each colorful leaf held the soul of their fathers fathers that still remains.
The same grass we stomp on is the same grass they fought and died for.
Who are we to spit on the very grass our ancestors once kissed and adored?
The earth is our only home, when we destroy her, she destroys us.
We give her no choice, we ruined it for ourselves.
Sometimes we need to learn from our past, because not always good is new.
Would our ancestors be proud of what we turned their mother into?
