The first time I met Annabel Lee
We were young
Young as can be
Love at first sight?
I believe that in me
Still to this day I love that young Annabel Lee

Watching the clouds
While lying under an oak tree
We talked about anything we could see
Our imagination going wild
We fell in love around the
Beautiful scenery

We would also read
Her chair sitting next to me
She’d grasp my hand
Me loving the warmth of Annabel Lee
She always brought out the best in me

I miss my wife
My Annabel Lee
My darling soul mate
The other half of me
My beautiful best friend
The woman I still love so dearly

She went so fast
My dear Annabel Lee
I remember her last words
Sitting next to me
Our hands connected
As she spoke
“I love you to the moon and back sweetie”
