Noah's Ark
God called to Noah with a holler
“The flood is coming my son
This flood will have the destructive power
of a herd of elephants
Build an ark and sail away,
for the other humans have tortured me.”
Noah built his lovely ark
With wood a smooth jet-black color
Dusk,
the time had come
Noah loaded the pairs of animals,
and his children
And they sailed away
And the sinners died
The story has ended
The priest finished his sermon and left the church
“That was my favorite story" he said
Then he went home and told it again.
And again
And again
And again
Until he died telling that story.
