You and I
The wet and the white
Slowly surrounding us
Suffocating
It doesn’t let you think
You cannot escape it
It hangs over you and I like a shadow
A forgotten friend
A war-hardened enemy
It sews shut your lips
The words cannot escape your head
Slowly turning blue
We finally face each other
And see the beauty of the endlessly falling
The ever different
The ever changing
The snow
