We are Love
Love Goes on
It goes on,
On through the empty room,
Onto all 4 corners of the blank walls,
And over the hilltops, embracing our every shadow.
It’s peeking over the horizon,
Winding itself through the rushing rivers like a graceful snake,
Tying its delightful nature into the dancing trees,
And engraving its passion into the dirt, where our feet touch.
It becomes alive,
Living in the humming birds above,
Existing in the roots deep beneath the ground,
And becoming the wind, whispering lullabies in our ears.
It runs through the ground,
Flowing at our feet and up our spines,
It creates our veins and makes up our bones,
And it overpowers our powerful minds, creating blissful thoughts.
Love never fails to ignite,
Love is revving the ardent heartbeats of many,
Love is sparking the iridescent lights in somber times,
Love is halting the oppressive cries of humanity, saving our joyous spirits from caving in.
Without it, we are just empty rooms.
We are just blank walls,
We are just dirt,
We are full of somberness,
and full of oppressive cries, love goes on.
