Grass
They can be soldiers
with feet rooted to the earth.
Or a king with a pointed crown.
Maybe a tower that leans as wind blows,
Even a colony of ants.
They say “Good Morning” with smiling green color
Wears a dress made of crystals
When the air is frigid
Dances with the wind
A tree as its partner
Is born when the sun shows its face.
Disappears as the clouds defeat the sun
They beg for water as sun makes it tire
It holds the blossoms in its place
and carries the burden of the trees
Softens like a cloud
as the feet of a child step upon it
They stay still,
Together as one
As an army.
