Spring
A time where white blossoms begin to appear on the branches of growing trees.
The birds begin to hum their first tunes that’ll begin the orchestra of a fresh new season.
The first few blades of newborn grass begin poking their heads from under the undergrowth.
Water falls from the skies, quenching the thirst of the Earth that had lasted during the previously frozen season.
The air is seasoned with the scent of fresh earth
Pansies and bloodroots shoot from the revived dark soil,
They add a spark of color to the scene.
At night, when there is not but a single cloud in the sky.
One can stare up at the radiant stars for hours and still not count all of them.
The lightning bugs begin their spring dance and help to illuminate.
Oh how one does not want to rest their eyes during this surely alive.
