The evil that is in control
Of each and every human’s soul
Is ruled by one and one alone,
Who calmly sits upon his throne.
Yet in each man there is a good,
Which by God’s grace, be understood.
We must have faith and trust in Him,
That he may free us from our sin;
And by His grace and power alone
Usurp the Dark One from his throne
From in our hearts and in our minds,
Who boldly sits and bides his time.
Until the day has come at last,
God sends His angels, turned in past,
Straight to the fiery pits of hell
Where they and Devil shall ere dwell.
