The largest, beaming star
cascades towards the horizon.
While a natural flashlight appears-
She guides the world as twilight sets in.
Calm, mysterious lake waters
mirror an
arresting, alluring aurora.
Stars scatter
among the dark canvas,
like white crayon on
black construction paper.
Many sets of eyes stare, at the clear blackness-
Our minds, blank of all but one thought:
Although the dark seems inevitable,
the light will begin to shine through...
