You stand here by yourself
And think
And wonder
How did I get here?
At the top, all alone
Having everything but really nothing
Realizing what you lost
Who you lost
Never even had
Pushed people down to hoist you up
But never really made any
Friends
Selfish and conceited
That’s who you are
Lying
That’s what you are
Lying your way to the top
An irreversible mistake
And now you see
Standing there
You’re really looking up
And seeing those you pushed down
Alone
That’s all you’ll ever be
