the birds
I want to feel the cold brass metal
on my finger tips
I want to feel the immense pressure of the gun going
off the blow back of the gun on my shoulder
I want to smell gunpowder,
in the air blowing right into my face
I want to see the bright orange bird
blowing into little bits.
I want to feel the the anticipation of
myself wanting to pull the trigger earley
I want to feel the sunset
as my hands get cold..
seeing the sunsets
warmth disappearing
the love of trapshooting ,
holding the gun
feeling powerful,
erasing the feeling of being powerless
it feels priceless
