Writing
Somewhere over the course of this year,
I have lost
All of my motivation and ability
To write.
I used to write for hours,
Pen on paper, hands on keys.
But now,
I struggle to find the right words for a simple poem.
Where words used to rest now all I see are eraser marks and endless backspaces.
No matter how hard I try, the words, sentences and paragraphs simply won’t come.
Somewhere over the course of this year,
I have lost
Something important.
Something I now can’t find the words to describe.
