In Front of Your Face
You can't miss what you don't know
So my life wasn't lacking before you
I occasionally wish for that ignorance
And then I was in front of your face
You couldn't pretend I didn't exist
You managed to go from stranger to family
Though you let her and the kids do the work
Then you broke that all apart
Threw money at the ones
Still in front of you
No money could make me ignore
how impossible you were to please
Slowly I gave up
You were like a ghost in your own home
You hid and you lied
You pretended everything was fine
So you were mad when you 'fixed' everything
Abd I didn't want a part of it
But now I'm not in front of your face
And I really don't care
