Poetry looking in the mirror sees art, and art looking in the mirror sings poetry.<br /> ~Aberjhani

The light one and the dark one, always there, always lurking.
The struggle inside me now reaches its limit, no more can I handle this on my own.
The bloodthirsty side of me is coming free.
Beware, beware, the wrath of my darkness, releasing its pain and suffering.
The power masked by light, the strength that keeps me alive.
-No person can take the strength of my fury, for I am power in itself.
The weight of my past lies on my shoulders as I push on through the foggy night,
The light fades as the darkness grows.
Grows, more powerful than ever before.-
The power imbedded within the heart, once released, creates a storm like none other, unique to each human.
The rage in that storm cannot be controlled, but it swirls around inside, pretending…
Saying it’s natural or healthy, but it’s not, the rage is a part of a larger system,
The system of doom and pain and suffering, the sorrows that lead into forever,
And I can see it clearly, the path to devastation, right ahead.
And I walk that path, not knowing any other,
I keep on going, whether my way is wrong, I may never know, not ‘till too late.
There is no turning back, so do not follow me,
Unless you wish to suffer the same fate as I, the leader, not follower, have chosen to take.
And the storm does not let up, but intensifies at my will to calm, therefore,
I cannot save myself, you make your own path, mine is not safe.
Doom, death, suffering, on the path to hell, the floods arise.
The pain, the sorrow, coming alive.
