Always There
The smell of the
fresh spring mud
is like a
sweet aroma
to my nose.
I've been waiting for
this time of year.
It's almost unfamiliar
One thing that doesn't change
with the seasons is
the love of a horse.
They can comfort you
in a way that is
beautiful.
Their warm hair is a
blanket of relaxation,
a home to the weary.
It doesn't change.
It's always
there.
