Drugs
They change who you are,
They change how you look,
They take over your body,
And grab like a hook,
Once is to many,
Twice never enough,
Inside you feel better,
But outside your rough,
They start to kill you,
Inside and out,
Everyone sees it,
But you never doubt,
You feel better,
And you think they should for you
But when you see you
You’ll have no clue,
You’ll see a different person,
With the same name,
You’ll lose who you are,
And start to blame,
You’ll blame your mother,
Your father, your friends
You’ll blame everyone else,
It will never end,
They take over your body
They make you believe,
You’re in this alone,
And you cannot leave,
If you’re lucky
You’ll find your way out
You’ll see the true you
And never again doubt
You’re not in this alone
You’re not the only one
But don’t pick up the first
For it can’t be undone
Learn to walk
On your own two feet
Don’t follow others
Or you’ll get beat
The drugs will take over
They’ll always win
You’ll have no chance
Once you’re in
So stay out
And be true to you
You’ll love who you are
And others will too.
