We’re all in the same boat
This is for the losers,
For the war mongers,
For the peace keepers,
For the teachers,
For all the believers,
For the stockbrokers,
For the law enforcers,
For the late night tokers.

For the people who feel like their world is crumbling,
And when nothing seems to be going your way
I’ll be here to say,
We’re all in the same boat

For the hippies and the hipsters,
For the nerds and the gangsters,
For the kids who write down word after word but are never heard,
For the people who are on top of the world,
Put on your life vest and hold on tight.

We’re going to make it.
We’re all in the same boat.
