She was ironic,
like every apology she uttered,
each one dripping with sincerity,
that she couldn’t quite comprehend,
she was an oxymoron,
a contradiction,
one part hyperactivity,
two parts depression,
She was a run-on sentence,
never ending,
and always slightly unattainable,
she was a hesitant question mark,
curious,
but too scared,
to share herself with the world,
she was an upside down exclamation mark,
a foreign concept,
always on the tip of your tongue,
and terribly confusing,
but if I had to describe her in one word,
I’d say she was beautiful,
period.
