What an ugly word
It punches you in the stomach
chokes you
breaks you
scratches you
from inside and out
It blinds you until
you're lost
you're hopeless
you're helpless
and you want to give up
It takes away everything
love
life
happiness
until you're empty

My best friend Taylor passed away recently, and I can't stop thinking about him, I miss him so much. This poem kind of expresses how I feel without him here with me.
