Now we say goodbye
To twelve years of our lives.
What we thought was forever
Has ended.

Now we say goodbye
To friends and family.
The past years were fun,
But fun times never last.

Now, in this moment,
We miss all we couldn't do, and all we lose.
All the parties we'll miss,
All the people we'll never see again.

Now we look back and remember
All we have been through.
Parades and fairs,
Dinners and floats.

Now we walk on the stage,
And watch our families cry,
Their babies all grown up.
We are kids no more.

Now we greet the future.
New loves and new experiences.
New sights and new plans.
Fun times and hardships ahead.

Now our friends leave,
And we make new ones.
Make new friends but keep the old,
One is Silver and the other is Gold.

Now it's our turn to take the lead,
Be innovative and spontaneous.
Different and unique,
You know, be ourselves.

Now we say goodbye
To twelve years of our lives.
Our future is at hand,
The world is ours to take, by storm.

This piece was intended for the yearbook; however, they failed to give me an exact date as to when they needed it and we ended up missing the deadline. I hated to have this just sitting in my Finals folder, so here it is. Enjoy.
