Two things you think would never go well together are fire and water. Fire is hot and impulsive, going ever which way, burning all that he can. Fire is misunderstood; no one sees the beauty in the forest fire, or the vulnerability of the aftermath smoke. Fire, he will scorch all in his path. Fire, he will take all the oxygen from your lungs and you never know if it’s because he’s taking your breath away or because he’s killing you…until it’s too late. And now you have burn scars, but you’re also in love. Water is a bit of a different story, but not any less tragic. Water is alone. She falls from the sky by herself and she builds rivers by herself. Water is strong, forming hurricanes and waterfalls, destroying houses and shores. But water is weak, only knowing how to take shape of where she is placed. Water will mold for you and she will change for you. She will fall from the highest peak and crash to rock bottom for you. Water is clear and crystal and you can see right through her, but all you will see is oceans of affection for a land hugged state. How can a fire whose fueling himself, grow by water that is desperate for help? Maybe she’ll mold for him. She can’t take his shape because he’s everywhere but she can stream behind him. She can make sure no one blames the fire for scorched up trees…or scorched up hearts. Fire can light the way for her Melt the ice that might have grown when she was trying to build glaciers around herself. He can boil and bubble all that she feels, rise her temperature too high for anyone else to touch her. She will be completely captivated by fire and he will be completely in raveled by water. And they will know no other element but one another.
