I am a Shadow

There is this thing that’s constantly following me,
it’s friendly and nice for everyone to see.
This thing is usually tired and lazy too,
but that doesn't stop him from being nice and not rude.
This thing replicates me, and what I do.
This thing is my shadow and it will follow me through.
