Banished for doing what was right.
I gave humanity their thirst for knowledge to free them from the wicked grasp of their god.
Yet they see me as the deceiver.
Humanity has shamelessly followed him
Yet; little do they know, I killed their god a long time ago.
They’ll learn for I will tell them.

I was given the requirements of making a 55 word poem. I picked this, because I don't believe in conventional religion and I think this would make a nice plot twist.
