American Dream
When I was little I was told that if you have a dream go for it which I tried and I wanted the American dream so bad. A rich life style, a wife, and two kids but as I started growing up I realized life was going to be harder then it seemed. I was never told that it would be a long adventure. As an 11th grade student I know that our generation is not as great as the old generation; when jobs were easily at grasp. But who can we blame. Definitely not our mistakes! It’s a misunderstanding world between what we expect and what we strive for. So shouldn't we know better? Not all dreams come true. We struggle and risk everything just for anything and determine to reach a higher level of knowledge.
